Quirino was in charge of the renovation and adaptation of the Double Smart bedroom of Residenza Ferruccio. Together with him, we thought and designed an architectural solution, in order to solve some critical points of the room. Through simple actions, the space into the room was not altered but it was adapted directly to new needs. The basin outside the bathroom gives to the space a vintage look, but at the same time comfortable and integrated with the surroundings.

Our friend Pietro of StudioPdC is a professional lighting designer based in Milan and working all around Italy and abroad. He collaborates with the most important Italian and foreign architects and light companies, in order to give to his clients the best solutions in architectural lighting.
Pietro is really passionate about his job, so much that we have decided to ask his help to “give light” to Residenza Ferruccio. He is the author and designer of the Residenza Ferruccio lighting project, both architectural, decorative lighting and Custom lighting fixtures, like ModinaLamp, designed, developed and implemented thanks to the vision and collaboration of Raffaella Spampanato di Lamula creating tailoring.
ModinaLamp is made by a brand new material, called neoprene, very popular also in the fashion world and sport sectors (e.g. boating and ski). Modina was born as a lighting experiment of light inserted in neoprene hats, designed by Raffaella Spampanato di Lamula. It then became a family of lamps combining lightness and elegance. Each shades in unique in form and entirely handmade by using a special technique of wrapping tissue. ModinaLamp’s design is a new concept of light, giving charm and warmth to both contemporary and vintage interiors.
